Suggested fabrics: To achieve the full effect of Odell’s statement sleeves, opt for a fabric with structure. Lightweight, drapey fabrics won’t hold the sleeve shape as well. The best choices include easy to sew fabrics such as cotton and linen, as well as slightly thicker fabrics such as canvas, denim, and baby cord. If you would like to colour block the sleeves, choose fabrics with similar stiffness for all the sleeve pieces.
